NEAL HERMANSON, Football, Bolingbrook (HS), Accounting - Four-year letterman... Served as co-captain of the 1990 squad... Member of the GTE/CoSIDA District V all-academic football team as a junior and as a senior...  Defensive back, Hermanson made 33 solo tackles and assisted on 14 more in his senior year... Returned nine kickoffs for a 20.1 average... As a sophomore and junior he was chosen to the second team of the all-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin as a defensive back and earned CCIW "Defensive Player of the Week" honors once in 1989... Voted IWU's best special teams player and earned second team all- CCIW recognition as a return specialist in 1988... Vice president of the National Association of Accountants, a member of Green Medallion (a local activities honorary for sophomores), and founder and president of the Environmental Awareness Force... Son of Richard and Gloria Hermanson, Bolingbrook.
