JASON HOWELL, Men's Track & Field, Carterville (HS), Business Administration - Three-year letterman... Chosen as the team's most improved performer in 1991... As a junior, Jason won the 400-meter hurdle event in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin meet with a school-record time of 55.2 seconds... In the same CCIW meet, he finished second in the 110-meter hurdles at the conference meet and placed fourth in the high jump with a jump of 6 feet- 6 inches... As a sophomore, he was a member of the varsity basketball team that advanced to the NCAA Division III "Elite Eight"... Member os Alpha Mu Alpha national marketing honorary society, Phi Gamma Nu national business fraternity, and has been vice president of the American Marketing Association... Served as vice president of International House and has helped coordinate "Carnivale", a campus-wide international program.
