MALIK JONES, Men's Track & Field and Football, Chicago (Mendel Catholic HS), Physics - National NCAA Division III indoor champion in the 55-meter high hurdles in 1990... Finished second in the national event in 1991... Prior to the 1991 season, Jones has earned three track letters at IWU and was the most valuable squad member as a result of amassing the most points during the 1990 season... Qualifier for the NCAA Division III national meet, Jones won all but one of his 110-meter high hurdle outdoor races last year and successfully defended his title in that event in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin meet... Broke the school and meet records in the 110-meter high hurdles with a time of 14.3 in the 1990 Ecumenical Invitational... Two-year football letterman... Son of Mrs. Leola Jones, Chicago.
