Illinois Wesleyan senior Dani Engelbreit (Elk Grove Village, James Conant HS) has earned three letters in women's lacrosse and was chosen as College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin "Offensive Player of the Year" in 2018. She was a first team all-CCIW selection as a junior and was chosen to the second team of the all-league squads as a freshman and sophomore.
On three occasions she has been chosen as the CCIW Player of the Week.
A psychology major at Illinois Wesleyan, she is the daughter of Maureen Engelbreit.


Why you chose to attend Illinois Wesleyan: I chose Illinois Wesleyan because it seemed like a perfect fit between academics and athletics. IWU felt like home and I was really excited to help build a young lacrosse program.
