Senior Lori Johnson (Bloomington, Ill., Normal Community HS) is a three-year letterwinner in volleyball and (as of Oct. 26) ranked 12th in total blocks and kills in an IWU career as well as seventh in games played at the school.
A business (marketing) major at Illinois Wesleyan, she is the daughter of Tim and Paulette Johnson of Bloomington.
Why you chose Illinois Wesleyan: The people. When I came on my visit everyone was very kind and welcoming, I could really see myself fitting in here.
IWU class you’re most qualified to teach: Probably coaching volleyball, minus the softball portion of the class

My greatest moment in sports was: So many! Probably committing to come to IWU to play volleyball.
The best player I ever faced was: This is tough. One who stands out is Hillary [Haen] who is now a setter at the University of Illinois.
Worst dresser on my team: Gaby Johnson… She struggles with clothing. Anyone who knows Gaby would understand what I mean.
