Allison Ward (Bloomington, Ill., Normal Community High School) was the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin "Player of the Year" in 2008 and was an all-region selection in 2008 and 2009. Coming into the 2010 season she was No. 9 at IWU in career runs batted in, No. 2 with 17 home runs, and No. 3 with a .555 sluggine percentage. A business (marketing) major at Illinois Wesleyan, Allison is the daughter of Steve and Peggy Ward.

Worst grade in a class you ever got – what and when? I once received a C+ in art class in grade school…apparently I’m not exactly gifted with creativity

Most expensive traffic ticket: I’ve only gotten one (knock on wood), but it was a $110 speeding ticket in Missouri

The best player I ever faced was: Cat Osterman and the US Olympic Team…they’re unbelievable

Thing that’s been in my fridge the longest: I’m not positive…our fridge is kind of a disaster so I’m sure there are some really old left-overs somewhere in the back of it
