Mike Kotz is a starting linebacker for the 2009 CCIW champion Titans and has been a four-year letterman for the football team.
A product of Chicago St. Patrick High School, Kotz is majoring in political science at Illinois Wesleyan. He is the son of Mary and Josepn Kotz of Elmwood Park, Ill.
Language I’d like to learn: I’d like to be fluent in Spanish, and then learn Arabic next.

Most expensive traffic ticket: This is going to jinx me, but I’ve never had one. I know it is hard to believe.

Favorite food: Chicago style stuffed pizza

Favorite musical group: I can’t pick. It just depends on the mood I’m in.

Favorite sports figure: Walter Payton
My greatest moment in sports was: Either when I pushed a ball across the living room floor using my head when I was just over a year old, or beating Wheaton a couple of weeks ago in route to our CCIW championship.
The best player I ever faced was: I would say his name, but I don’t want to become a part of his steroid investigation. However, If you’re reading this, I want my high school conference championship back!
Worst dresser on my team: Max Brooks. He is going to deny this once again, but South Park hats are still not cool.
My possession that would fetch the most on eBay: Advertising space on my forehead.
What I miss most about being in the third grade: Trapper Keepers.
