Illinois Wesleyan senior catcher Pat Mollo (Naperville, Ill., Naperville North HS) was a 2016 second team preseason All-American selection in d3baseball.com after a sophomore season when he was chosen to first team of all-region squads selected by American Baseball Coaches Association and d3baseball.com
Also as a sophomore he was named to first team of all-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin baseball squads and was IWU''s "Most Valuable Player" as he hit .361 with team-highs of 18 doubles and eight home runs.
Majoring in English (journalism) at Illinois Wesleyan, he is the son of Ray and Pat Mollo.

The longest I could survive without my cell phone: Currently have an iPhone 4, so basically I am surviving without a cell phone.

One word your mother or father would use to describe you: Just asked her and she said “driven”… what she doesn’t know won't hurt her.

Favorite sports figures: Anyone except Lebron James - that guy sucks.

My greatest moment in sports was: Playing shortstop for a few games my freshman year. That’s a lot of beef up the middle.

The best player I ever faced was: Zach Burdi

Worst dresser on my team: Matthew Banatis. I think that’s two years running for him. Kid has got to get a grip.

Thing that’s been in my fridge the longest: Moldy cup of ranch from Mugsys

Person I’m dying to have dinner with: Stephanie Prentice  

Favorite food: Pizza

Vegetable I won’t eat: Squash

Pepsi or Coke? Coke. End of story.

Favorite TV show: "Shameless"

Favorite musical group: OMG Chainsmokers play Paris!

Favorite movie: Basically any Tarantino movie.
