Senior Kyle Gorgol started the 2012 season ranked No. 8 all-time at the school with 42 points and was tied for No. 6 with 18 goals. He was named to the first team of the 2011 all-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin squads after earning second team honors as a freshman and sophomore. He has twice been chosen as the Titans' most valuable offensive player.
An accounting major at Illinois Wesleyan, he is the son of John and Deedee Gorgol.



Why you chose Illinois Wesleyan: I wanted to play soccer and receive a good education.

IWU class you’re most qualified to teach: "Theories and Practices of Physical Education".

The hardest challenge about being a Division III student-athlete is:  The time commitment.  With challenging classes you can only procrastinate for a short amount of time.

Worst grade in a class you ever got – what and when? C- in "Social Problems".  It was first semester freshmen year.

Most expensive traffic ticket: They are all a blur considering I have had about 4 of them.

Language I’d like to learn: Latin

The longest I could survive without my cell phone: The longest.

One word your mother or father would use to describe you: "Frat"

Favorite sports figure: Shoutout to Derrick Rose, man the brother nice.

My greatest moment in sports was: Scoring the game-winning goal the last two years against Elmhurst.

The best player I ever faced was: Declan Geraghty... because he never loses a header.

Worst dresser on my team: Angelo Catalano, his style is wacked

Thing that’s been in my fridge the longest: Country Crock economy size butter.

Favorite food: Mac and cheese

Vegetable I won’t eat: Cauliflower

Pepsi or Coke?: Coke

Favorite TV show: "Entourage"

Favorite musical group: James Blunt

Favorite movie: "Fired Up"

If a movie were made of my life, I would like the following person to play me: Ryan Reynolds

The person in history I would most like to meet is: Muhammed Ali

My dream job would be: Retired
