Illinois Wesleyan senior James Maibuecher (Chicago, Notre Dame College Prep) was selected as the "Offensive Player of the Year" in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin in 2016 as a sophomore, when he was also a first team all-conference selection.
James was named as team's "Offensive Most Valuable Player" in 2016 and has been the CCIW "Offensive Player of the Week" four times in his career.
Majoring in business (financial services) at Illinois Wesleyan, he is the son of Donna and Robert Maibuecher.
