Why you chose Illinois Wesleyan: It was one of the better schools on my list with a great baseball team.

IWU class you’re most qualified to teach: I would be able to teach a Financial Management or Investments course for a day.

The hardest challenge about being a Division III student-athlete is: Being a student.

Worst grade in a class you ever got – what and when? I got a C freshman year in my gateway course… Mono that semester didn’t help.

I’m deathly afraid of ... : Leeches

Worst habit: Biting my fingernails. I could never be a hand model.

Most expensive traffic ticket: $175 speeding ticket on I-55.

Language I’d like to learn: Chinese

The longest I could survive without my cell phone: Not sure. I’m not even able to survive without it during a nine-inning baseball game.

Your usual response to “What’s going on?”: nm, hbu?

Favorite sports figures: Matt Kemp, Josh Hamilton, and Kevin Durant.

My greatest moment in sports was: Winning the National Championship in 2010… It’s better to be a has-been than a never-was.

The best player I ever faced was: While at IWU, Mike Giovenco from North Park was the best pitcher I faced.

Worst dresser on my team: Robert Romano

Thing that’s been in my fridge the longest: Arm & Hammer Baking Soda

Favorite food: Bacon-wrapped filet mignon with blue cheese crumbles on top, cooked medium-rare.

Vegetable I won’t eat: I haven’t come across one that I wouldn’t try.

Pepsi or Coke?: Coke, especially from McDonald’s.

Favorite TV show: "Mad Men"

Favorite movie: Any Adam Sandler movie up until "The Water Boy."

If a movie were made of my life, I would like the following person to play me: Matt Conrad

The person in history I would most like to meet is: Babe Ruth

My dream job would be: Real estate developer or, if I’m lucky, a stay-at-home dad.

Place I’d most like to live: Hawaii. It’s a great getaway without leaving the States.

Two things that are tops on my “bucket list”: Go to Las Vegas and take a trip to somewhere in Europe.

My possession that would fetch the most on eBay: My baseball and basketball card collection from my childhood.

What I miss most about being in the third grade: All the popular trends.
