Illinois Wesleyan senior Jeff Toraason was selected as the "Field Athlete of the Meet" in the 2015 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin indoor track championships. A two-event winner, Toraason won the CCIW heptathlon with a school-record total of 4,940 points and also won the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 7.71 seconds.
Toraason placed 12th in the heptathlon at the 2015 NCAA Division III indoor track and field national championships, earning the "Best Male Championship Performance" at the 2015 Tommy Awards.
Majoring in biology (pre-med) at Illinois Wesleyan, he is the son of Jim and Debbie Toraason.
