Carmin Beck earned four cross country letters at Illinois Wesleyan and was the first woman from IWU to compete in two NCAA Division III championship meets (2012, 2013). She finished 116th (22:44.6) in 2013 and 217th in 2012 (23:38.0). In 2013 she was named USTFCCCA Division III All-Region as she placed fourth in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin conference meet (22:47) and was the team's low finisher in every event she ran.
In 2012 she placed seventh in CCIW meet with time of 22:55.
The daughter of Thomas and Kimeri Beck, Carmin majored in chemistry at Illinois Wesleyan and says that since graduation in May, "I am working at a summer camp this summer as the arts and crafts director and in the fall I am moving out West to get a job."
