Senior Tori Samson (Chesterfield, Mo., Parkway Central HS), has earned three letters and was named to the second team of the NSCAA all-Central Region team in 2009. She has been a second team all-conference selection in 2008 and 2009 and was the Titans' defensive "MVP" last fall. She also earned CCIW “Defensive Player of the Week” honors once in 2009. Tori, who is majoring in business administration (marketing) at Illinois Wesleyan, is the daughter Tom and Cam Samson of Chesterfield, Mo.

Why you chose Illinois Wesleyan: The small school atmosphere and a chance to continue playing soccer

IWU class you’re most qualified to teach: I would hope some sort of business class, marketing related, it is my major…

Worst grade in a class you ever got – what and when? C in geometry… I don’t have a math section in my brain.

I’m deathly afraid of ... : Fish and birds… freak me out!

Worst habit: Having a messy room - getting ready I try on lots of clothes, but put them on the floor instead of back where I got them!

Most expensive traffic ticket: Speeding and then going to traffic school, three times, in less than a year … I just like to go fast!

Language I’d like to learn: Spanish, I’ve gone through Spanish 201 and still only know how to say hello.

Your usual response to “What’s going on?”: "Nothing, bored, what are you doing… want to come play?!"

Favorite sports figures: Lionel Messi, Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo

My greatest moment in sports was: Scoring the winning goal in against Carroll in the national tournament last year, to advance to the second round.

The best player I ever faced was: When we traveled abroad with the IWU soccer team my freshmen year, we played Sparta Prague a club team from the Czech Republic. The team was made up of mostly their national team players, and I marked the center mid, who was the captain and the on the national team. She was also six feet tall.

Worst dresser on my team: The coaches… just because they seem to wear the same stuff at practice, like they need some sort of uniform.

Thing that’s been in my fridge the longest: Hot sauce! I love it on everything I eat, so I got a big bottle to last me for months!

Person I’m dying to have dinner with: God

Favorite food: Cheese… like hot sauce, pretty much good on anything

Vegetable I won’t eat: Brussels sprouts

Pepsi or Coke?: Depends on the day, I like both!

Favorite TV show: Too many to choose from! I love reality TV shows, "Entourage", "Fantasy Factory", "Grey’s Anatomy" … thank God for my DVR.

Favorite musical group: Wayyyy too many to pick from- I love good lyrics and anything with a good beat to dance to!

Favorite movie: "Inception" at the moment… it’s the most recent one I have seen…

If a movie were made of my life, I would like the following person to play me: Emmanuelle Chriqui, Sloan from "Entourage"

The person in history I would most like to meet is: My two grandparents who passed away before I was born/ when I was very young.

My dream job would be: Professional sports team owner

Place I’d most like to live:
Somewhere where I will still have all four seasons, but maybe have access to a plane to a private beach whenever I want?

My possession that would fetch the most on eBay: My shoe collection

What I miss most about being in the third grade: Recess- football, kickball, and four square… I was a definite tomboy
