As a freshman, she tossed a 7-inning, 3-0 no-hitter vs. Wis.-Stevens Point (March 29, 2015) and threw her second consecutive no-hitter with a 5-inning 10-0 win vs. Monmouth (April 1).

Why you chose to attend Illinois Wesleyan: The opportunity to be a part of an amazing nursing program and an incredible athletic program (and being able to balance the two)

IWU class you’re most qualified to teach: Softball 101

The hardest challenge about being a Division III student-athlete is: Balancing classes, sports, and a social life while staying healthy and actually getting sleep.

Worst grade in a class you ever got – what and when? B – Junior High PE because I couldn’t pass the sit and reach test

I’m deathly afraid of ... : The dark

Worst habit: Being extremely superstitious on game days and cracking my knuckles

Most expensive traffic ticket: $0 (I have yet to get one so cross your fingers I didn’t just jinx myself)

Language I’d like to learn: Sign Language

The longest I could survive without my cell phone: 3 days?

One word your mother or father would use to describe you: “Blonde” (I think they’re insulting my occasional ditzy moments)

Favorite sports figures: Kris Bryant, Jennie Finch, Sierra Romero, Lauren Chamberlain

My greatest moment in sports was: Back-to-back-to-back trips to the NCAA National Championships

The best player I ever faced was: Paige von Sprecken (#1 pitcher at Texas)

Worst dresser on my team: Sam Berghoff

Thing that’s been in my fridge the longest: A dozen eggs

Person I’m dying to have dinner with: Lyle Day

Favorite food: Mushrooms, Chinese Food

Vegetable I won’t eat: Brussels Sprouts

Pepsi or Coke? Coke (Specifically a large from McDonalds in a styrofoam cup, light ice)

Favorite TV show: "Prison Break"

Favorite musical group: Shania Twain

Favorite movie: "Harry Potter"

If a movie were made of my life, I would like the following person to play me: Emma Watson or Blake Lively

If my life were on TV as a reality show, I’d call it: "A Documentary of a Crazy Cat Lady"

The person in history I would most like to meet is: Jesus

My dream job would be: I guess I have to have a big girl job to support my many children and cats that are in my future so I guess being a Nurse Practitioner would be pretty cool

Place I’d most like to live: Anywhere in Europe

If you come back in another life, what would you like to return as: A cat, obviously

Two things that are tops on my “bucket list”: Travel to Europe and meet Shania Twain

My possession that would fetch the most on eBay: My growing collection of cat socks

Who is the luckiest person in the world? My cat Poppi because she has the coolest cat-mom

What I miss most about being in the third grade: Enjoying your classmate’s birthday treats, always getting valentines from everyone, and Scholastic book fairs.
