A two year letterman, Illinois Wesleyan senior Jaylen Beasley (Bloomington, Ill., Bloomington HS) has career-bests of 17 points (vs. Greenville, Nov. 17, 2015 and at Rhodes, Nov. 26, 2017) and 13 rebounds (vs. Calvin, Nov. 18, 2017).
Majoring in physics at Illinois Wesleyan, he is the son of Brigette Beasley and David Beasley.


Why you chose to attend Illinois Wesleyan: Because Coach Rose told me, “I know where you live, I will tee-pee your house if you go anywhere else in the CCIW.”
 
IWU class you’re most qualified to teach: “Wasting time on the Internet”
 
The hardest challenge about being a Division III student-athlete is: Taking 10 minute naps
 
Worst grade in a class you ever got – what and when? I got a 33% on an Astrophysics test once. He didn’t like the way I kept spelling the seventh planet.

My greatest moment in sports was: Every time we beat Normal Community in high school.

Worst dresser on my team: Brady Rose has been wearing the same flips flops since like sophomore year of high school

Thing that’s been in my fridge the longest: Some milk from welcome week tucked in the back corner
 
Person I’m dying to have dinner with: Morgan Freeman
 
Favorite food: Syrup with pancakes
 
Vegetable I won’t eat: I don’t know what cauliflower is so probably that

Favorite TV show: "Game of Thrones"
 
Favorite musical group: One Direction with Zayn
 
Favorite movie: The one with Frozone and the family with the bad baby sitter.

Place I’d most like to live: L.A… I grew up there
 
If you come back in another life, what would you like to return as: Someone with calf muscles
 
Two things that are tops on my “bucket list”: Grow facial hair and shave.
 
My possession that would fetch the most on eBay:  My limited edition of Backyard Baseball 2001 for PC.
 
Who is the luckiest person in the world? The survivors of the Men’s Basketball 2016 Spain Trip.
