A 2015 letterwinner on the Illinois Wesleyan men's lacrosse team, senior Miles Ebell (Chicago, Lincoln Park HS) transfered to IWU after his freshman year at Southern Illinois, where he played on the club team. He was chosen as the 2015 team's "Most Improved Player" as he appeared in 16 games, making 10 starts. He had 22 ground balls and won 107 of 168 faceoff attempts.
Majoring in biology at Illinois Wesleyan, he is the son of Doreen Stelton and Patrick Ebell, who played baseball at the University of Florida.

Why you chose Illinois Wesleyan: I wanted to go to a smaller school.

IWU class you’re most qualified to teach: Human Nutrition

The hardest challenge about being a Division III student-athlete is: Replacing broken lacrosse sticks with my own money

Worst grade in a class you ever got – what and when? At Southern Illinois I couldn’t take my final aviation flight exam because I had a cold and wasn’t allowed to fly. They made my grade an incomplete but I had changed my major by the time I was given a chance to finish the class. I would have had to spend more money to finish it but that seemed like a waste so the incomplete became an F.

The best player I ever faced was: This Johns Hopkins graduate in a rec league. Never got his name.

Worst dresser on my team: Steven Laduzinsky with his camo crocs

Thing that’s been in my fridge the longest: There was this one jar of peanut butter was there for three whole days. I eat a lot.

Person I’m dying to have dinner with: Danny DeVito

Favorite food: Sushi

Vegetable I won’t eat: Grass

Pepsi or Coke? Coke, minus the dye, artificial flavors, sugar, caffeine, and bubbles. So water...

Favorite musical group: Portugal. The Man

Favorite movie: "Rocky IV"

If a movie were made of my life, I would like the following person to play me: The guy who played Thor

If my life were on TV as a reality show, I’d call it: "The Biggest Loser"

The person in history I would most like to meet is: Bruce Lee
