Illinois Wesleyan senior men's basketball co-captain Brian Nelms (Arlington Heights, Ill., Rolling Meadows HS) has already scored more points as a senior than in his first three years combined. He has achieved his career highs this season in points (6, vs Texas Lutheran, 12/19/15), rebounds (4, at Univ. of Chicago, 12/14/15), and assists (6, at Loras, 12/12/15).
Nelms, whose grandmother also attended Illinois Wesleyan, is a double major in economics and marketing at IWU. He is the son of Jeff and Carol Nelms.
