Illinois Wesleyan 2015 graduate Kenny Wienckowski was named as the "Most Valuable Player" for the Titan men's golf team for three straight seasons (2013, 2014, 2015).
He led IWU in 2014-15 with a 73.5 stroke average in 29 rounds and had five top-five finishes. The 73.5 average is tied for second-best in an IWU single season with Mike DeRuntz (73.5, 23 rounds, 2008-09) and behind only the school record 71.9 average posted by Bennett Blakeman in 23 rounds in 2008-09.
Wienckowski was the medalist in the 2015 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin championships and his 74.50 career scoring average (109 rounds) is the lowest for an IWU men's golfer, just ahead of his teammate Tony Albano at 74.59 (89 rounds).
A business administration (finance) major at Illinois Wesleyan, he is the son of Tom and Margie Wienckowski. Kenny's last name would be worth 27 points in Scrabble.
