Illinois Wesleyan 2014 graduate Jon Frericks (Gurnee, Ill., Warren Township HS) finished his career ranked No. 8 in school baseball history in hits (206), tied for No. 10 with 42 doubles, and No. 3 with 631 at bats. His 175 games played is tied for fourth most at the school and his 149 games started is No. 10.
As a senior he was named to the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Central Region second team and was a third team D3baseball.com all-Central Region selection. He was a first team all-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin selection as a senior after being second team as a junior.
A business finance major at Illinois Wesleyan, he is the son of Jeff and Beth Frericks.
