Men’s Golf Hits the Road for NCAA Preview

Titans to get early look at national championship course

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf Team will make the trek to Williamsburg, Va. for the NCAA Division III Preview at the Kingsmill Resort. The tournament will be held this Monday-Tuesday, Sept. 21-22 with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. ET.

The Titans will compete in a field of 18 teams, including Piedmont, Oglethorpe, Mary Hardin-Baylor, Kenyon, Aurora, Rochester, Transylvania, Christopher Newport, Carnegie Mellon, Methodist, Trinity (Texas), Huntingdon, University of the South, Emory, and LeTourneau.

Making up the Green and White's starting lineup will be junior Pablo Castro (Palatine, Ill.- Palatine), sophomores Ryan Andrews (Libertyville, Ill.- Libertyville) and Ben Gelven (St. Louis, Mo.-Mary Institute and Country Day School), and freshmen Sam Uutala (Barrington, Ill.-Barrington) and Finley Tyrrell (LaGrange, Ill.-Lyons Township).
