Join Women’s Golf to Celebrate Program’s 30th Year

Titans will hold a golf outing with a reception to follow

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf program announced its 30-year celebration with a golf outing at Iron Golf Course and a reception at the Shirk Center to follow Friday, Oct. 2.

The program is calling all IWU golf alumnae, family, and friends to celebrate the growth and success of the women's golf program. The day will also celebrate the 2011 NCAA Division III Third Place and 2008 Fourth Place teams along with the four NCAA All-Americans.

The outing will open with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. with registration at 12 p.m. at Ironwood Golf Course. A reception will be held afterwards at Niepagen rooms located inside the Shirk Center. Recognitions begin at 6:30 p.m.
