CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team was the lone College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin program recognized Monday, July 13, as the Women's Golf Coaches Association unveiled its 2025-26 All-American Scholars.

Earning the award for the Green and White were senior Brooke Erhard (Champaign, Ill.-St. Thomas More), juniors Emily Gastrau (Wauwatosa, Wis.-Wauwatosa East) and Nora Cerroni (Waukesha, Wis.-Waukesha North), as well as sophomores Grace Fagan (Kirkwood, Mo.-Visitation Academy) and Gigi Zera (Glenview, Ill.-Loyola Academy).

A total of 1,551 women's collegiate golfers across NCAA Division I, II, and III as well as NAIA were recognized. In order to be eligible, individuals must maintain an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be on the team's roster through the conclusion of the season, and play in 50 percent of a team's rounds during the year through the conference championship.

Zera, the CCIW Women's Golfer of the Year, played 24 rounds over 11 tournaments. She posted a team-leading scoring average of 76.7 and totaled five top-10 finishes. Zera won the SMSU Classic, taking first-place in the primarily Division II tournament with rounds of 70 and 75 to finish the event five-over. A WGCA All-Region pick, Zera tied for third at the CCIW Championship en route to First Teal All-CCIW status. The sophomore reeled in three conference golfer of the week awards over the course of the year and was named Academic All-CCIW as well as College Sports Communicators Academic All-District.

One week removed from CSC First Team Academic All-America honors, Gastrau snatched Scholar All-American honors for the third consecutive season. In a career year, the Wauwatosa, Wis. native posted a scoring average of 77.4 strokes per round over 24 rounds. She tallied three top-10 finishes, including individual medalist honors at the CCIW Championship. No stranger to academic awards, Gastrau was the co-recipient of the CCIW's Elite 26 Award while also reeling in Academic All-CCIW and CSC Academic All-District recognitions throughout the year.

Cerroni played in 11 tournaments in her second season donning the Green and White, registering an average of 77.6 strokes per round. She collected four top-20 placements, highlighted by a runner-up finish at the WashU Spring Invite. There, she carded a career-low round of three-under 69 in the opening round to earn a share of second in the 82-player field. Like many of her teammates, Cerroni also garnered Academic All-CCIW and CSC Academic All-District honors. She was voted the CCIW Women's Golfer of the Week April 8.

On the heels of a tremendous spring, Fagan grabs the accolade for the second consecutive year. A co-recipient of the CCIW's Elite 26 Award, Fagan was a two-time CCIW Golfer of the Week pick and First Team All-CCIW selection. A CSC Third Team Academic All-America honoree, Fagan posted a career-best 78.8 stroke per round average over 24 rounds and 11 events. She secured five top-10 finishes, highlighted by a win at the Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling behind a career-low round of four-under 68. Fagan also pulled in CSC Academic All-District and Academic All-CCIW status throughout the season.

Erhard concluded her collegiate career with a fourth straight Scholar All-America selection. Playing in a career-high 22 rounds, Erhard averaged 83.4 strokes per round with a top-10 placement and three top-20 finishes. She tied her career-low with a round of 73 and set personal-bests in 36-hole (151) and 54-hole (248) scoring. Her one-over 73 came in the final round of the IWU Fall Classic, where she tied for ninth behind her 36-hole best. Erhard was named IWU's recipient of the CCIW RESPECT Award and Academic All-CCIW.
