BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's track team rose to No. 13 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association rankings, released Tuesday, Feb. 10, ahead of a road trip for the men's and women's squads this weekend, Friday-Saturday, Feb. 13-14. A group of Titans are set to travel to Allendale, Mich., for the Grand Valley State University Big Meet, while another group heads to Monmouth, Ill., to participate in the Roger Haynes Invitational.

The Titan women's team rose nine spots in the season's third edition of the USTFCCCA Indoor rankings, climbing to No. 13 in Division III. The Green and White jumped ahead of Elmhurst University (No. 21) as the top College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin institution in the rankings.

Fresh off her second program record in as many meets, senior Adriana Crabtree (Normal, Ill.-University High) was named CCIW Track Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week. At the Keck Select Invitational Saturday, Feb. 7, Crabtree broke IWU's indoor record in the 3000m, winning the race and crossing the finish line in 9:42.66. Her time broke Erin McCarey's record of 9:50.29 set in 2016. Her time set a CCIW record, beating out Hannah Roeske of Wheaton, who ran 9:44.34 in 2018.

Crabtree is ranked top-10 in Division III in both the 3000m and the mile. Junior Imani Ogunribido (Hanover Park, Ill.-Lake Park), fresh off a triple jump victory at the Keck Select, Feb. 7, continues to rank first in the nation with a season-best leap of 12.53m, which is over a foot and a half further than anyone in Division III this season.

Twenty-six Titans recorded personal best marks in Saturday's Keck Select, as eight scored top-three finishes in their respective events. Senior Matt Lindberg (Springfield, Ill.-Chatham) claimed a jump-off victory in the men's high jump last weekend. Lindberg's season-best mark of 1.97m ranks him third in the CCIW this season. Sophomore Maddie Morgan (Glen Ellyn, Ill.-Glenbard West) was also victorious, winning the women's 5000m race in 18:59.33.
