SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's cross country teams will travel across state lines to Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, S.C., the site of the 2025 NCAA Division III National Championship, for the Spartanburg Pre-National Meet this Saturday, Sept. 20. The women's race is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. ET, with the men's race to follow at 9:15 a.m. ET.

Senior Adriana Crabtree (Normal, Ill.-University High) was the star of the show the last time the Titans competed on Friday, Sept. 12 at the Redbird Invite. Crabtree broke the school record that had previously stood for 10 years en route to her third career victory. She raked in U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Athlete of the Week honors and College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Runner of the Week honors after her record-breaking win.

On the women's side, the Titans recently moved up in the most recent USTFCCCA regional rankings released on Tuesday, Sept. 16. Currently sitting in sixth place, the Green and White are now the highest ranked CCIW team in the Midwest region after Wheaton moved down to seventh place, and Millikin and North Central fell out of the rankings.

On the men's side, seniors led the way for the Green and White. Seth Hamerski (Mount Vernon, Ill.-Webber) was the Titans top finisher at the Redbird Invite, clocking a 26:41.20 in the 8k race. Fellow senior Zack Daniel (Lake Barrington, Ill.-Barrington) was not far behind Hamerski, recording a time of 27:12.50.

Illinois Wesleyan will be one of 16 teams competing, including Berry, Case Western, Centre, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Colby, Marian (Wis.), North Central, Oglethorpe, Pfeiffer, Roanoke, St. Vincent (Pa.), Vassar, Warren Wilson, Washington and Lee, and Wellesley.

The women's race will begin at 8:30 a.m. ET, with the men's race to follow. Live stats will be available and can be found here.
