LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's track and field teams concluded the two-day PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational in Louisville, Ky. Saturday, Feb. 1 as the Titans moved up in both conference and national standings in three events.

IWU's men's 4-by-400m relay quartet of senior Alex Harvey (Galesburg, Ill.-Galesburg), junior Evan Lowder (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community), and sophomores Reece Dusek (Peoria, Ill.-Dunlap) and Noah Sadowski (Burr Ridge, Ill.-Hinsdale South) strung together a 3:20.39 time on Louisville's banked track to finish 13th overall in the loaded event. It is the second-fastest time in program history behind the 2007 team's 3:18.01 effort. The relay ranks second in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin.

Also racing in his first 400-meter race of the indoor season on Saturday, Lowder clocked a time of 49.60 to finish in 15th-place. Lowder's time is currently the second-fastest in the conference.

Earlier in the day, Harvey put together a 8.70-second effort in the men's 60m hurdle preliminary round, a time that was good for 26th in the field.

Junior Adriana Crabtree (Normal, Ill.-University High) turned in a season-best effort of 5:07.37 in the women's unseeded mile. Crabtree finished 31st in the 68-person field. Senior Emma MCGrath (Oak Lawn, Ill.-Oak Lawn) clocked a 5:29.29 for a 55th-place finish in the event. Crabtree and McGrath rank first and seventh in the conference, respectively.

Sophomore Imani Ogunribido (Hanover Park, Ill.-Lake Park) was the highest-finishing non-Division I competitor in the women's triple jump as the Hanover Park, Ill. native placed 10th out of 36 jumpers with an 11.93m (39'3") jump.

The Titans' final competitor at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational was sophomore Matt Lindberg (Springfield, Ill.-Glenwood) who finished ninth overall in the unseeded men's high jump with a 1.95m (6'4.75") jump.

Illinois Wesleyan returns to the Shirk Center for a two-day event as the Titans host the Keck DIII Select Friday and Saturday, Feb. 7-8.
