BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's track and field teams will send a limited squad to the Division I loaded PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational hosted by the University of Louisville, Friday and Saturday, Jan. 31-Feb. 1. Competition on both days is set for a 10 a.m. ET start in Louisville, Ky.

The Titans are coming off a four-team Friday night home meet that saw 20 event wins for the Green and White at the Jason Dennis Invitational, Jan. 24, and will use this week to rest much of the team.

Illinois Wesleyan will send six men to Louisville to compete in individual events and will also travel the 4-by-400m relay. Competing for the Green and White this Friday will be seniors Ernie Waterson (Bloomington, Ill.-Cornerstone Christian Academy) in the 800m, Alex Harvey (Galesburg, Ill.-Galesburg) in the 60m hurdles, juniors Evan Lowder (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community) in the 400m and CJ Ladewig (Palos Heights, Ill.-Stagg) in the weight throw, and sophomores Reece Dusek (Peoria, Ill.-Dunlap) in the 400m and Matt Lindberg (Springfield, Ill.-Glenwood) in the high jump. Sophomore Noah Sadowski (Burr Ridge, Ill.-Hinsdale South) will join Harvey, Lowder, and Dusek in the relay.

On the women's side, five Titans will compete in individual events including seniors Emma McGrath (Oak Lawn, Ill.-Oak Lawn) in the mile and Carlyssa King (Decatur, Ill.-Maroa Forsyth) in the weight throw, junior Adriana Crabtree (Normal, Ill.-University High) in the mile, sophomore Imani Ogunribido (Hanover Park, Ill.-Lake Park) in the triple jump and freshman Alex Reinhart (Normal, Ill.-Normal West) in the 800m.

Of those attending this weekend's meet in Louisville, three moved up in the program's top-10 list with their performances at the Jason Dennis Invitational. Ogunribido bettered her school record mark with a 12.28m (40'3.50") winning jump to lead the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin and rank fourth in Division III this season. Ogunribido's jump is also the 24th-best jump in Division III all-time.

Ladewig and King also moved up in program history in the men's and women's weight throw, respectively. Ladewig's winning throw of 16.97m (55'8.25") ranks fifth in both IWU history and in the conference this season and ranks 32nd in the nation. King's 17.01m (55'9.75") throw won the event last Friday and ranks third in program history, second in the conference this season, and 15th nationally.

The PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational will charge admission at the door and spectators will receive a wristband for each day of competition. Live results will be available and can be found here with final results being posted to the men's and women's track and field schedule pages on iwusports.com upon the conclusion of the meet.
