Huber Opens Track and Field’s Appearance at WashU Distance Carnival

Recorded outdoor-best time in women’s 800m

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Illinois Wesleyan University women's track and field junior Mackenzie Huber (Lombard, Ill.-Glenbard East) got the Titans started on day one of the WashU Distance Carnival Thursday night, March 26.

Huber finished 11th in the 29-person field in the women's 800m. Crossing the finish line in 2:13.92, the junior recorded a personal-best time in the outdoor 800m. Huber's time now places her fifth, one spot ahead of her sister, Lauren Huber, on the program's all-time top-10 list.

The Titans continue action tomorrow, March 27, at the WashU Distance Carnival. A link to follow live results can be found here.
