GREENWOOD, Ind. - The College Sports Communicators unveiled its 2025-26 women's Cross Country/Track & Field Academic All-America teams as Illinois Wesleyan University senior Adriana Crabtree (Normal, Ill.-University High) and junior Mackenzie Huber (Lombard, Ill.-Glenbard East) earned the distinction, announced Wednesday, July 15.

Crabtree wrapped up her legendary Titan career with her second CSC Academic All-America award, jumping from second team last year to first team this season. She is the second repeat selection in as many years as former teammate Annalese Chudy did so in 2024 and 2025. Crabtree dominated throughout the cross country and track and field seasons appearing in all three NCAA Championships along with five All-America honors from U.S Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. She added to a crowded trophy case with her 17th-place finish at the NCAA Division III Cross Country National Championship and her third-place finish in the 300m steeplechase at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship. With her placements, she earned First Team All-America distinction along with a second team finish during the indoor track & field season from USTFCCCA and NCAA. She earned College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Women's Indoor Track Student-Athlete of the Meet along with CCIW Women's Outdoor Track Student-Athlete of the Meet. Crabtree took home CCIW Track Athlete of the Week three times this season (Feb. 4, Feb 11, & April 22) and goes down as one of the best distance runners in program history. She completed her degree in environment studies with a 3.86 GPA.

Huber collected her first CSC Academic All-America recognition, landing on the third team. Her breakout season included First Team All-America status with her fourth-place finish in the 800m at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championship. The junior qualified for the outdoor championship as well for the first time in her career, garnering a 17th-place finish in the 800m. She snagged four USTFCCCA All-Region honors during her successful indoor season taking part in the 4x400 and DMR along with the distinction in the 800m during outdoor season. Huber pulled off an impressive indoor CCIW Championship, sweeping the 800m and was a part of the winning 4x400 and DMR relay squads. The Lombard, Ill. native placed sixth and eighth in the high jump at the CCIW outdoor and indoor championships, respectively. She was named to both the indoor and outdoor All-CCIW teams and won CCIW Track Athlete of the Week Feb. 18, 2026. This season, she planted career-bests in the 400m with a time of 58.21 and the 800m at 2:10.07.

Notably, Huber is the second in her family to earn CSC Academic All-America status as a Titan, joining her older sister Lauren Huber who received the award in basketball and track & field in 2025. The Huber sisters are believed to be the first set of IWU siblings to earn the prestigious honor. Last year, Adriana Crabtree joined her father Bryan Crabtree, a former Titan men's basketball standout, as a CSC Academic All-America honoree.

With the two selected, Illinois Wesleyan ends the 2025-2026 academic year with nine student-athletes named to a CSC Academic All-America team. Its all-time total sits at 185, good enough for 24th across all NCAA Divisions and ninth-most in Division III. To view the list of Illinois Wesleyan's all-time awardwinners, click here.
