Ogunribido Tabbed CCIW Field Athlete of the Week

Sixth weekly award of her career

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - In the first iteration of the 2026 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's outdoor track and field awards, Illinois Wesleyan University women's track and field junior Imani Ogunribido (Hanover Park, Ill.-Lake Park) garnered CCIW Field Athlete of the Week honors Wednesday, April 1. Throughout her award-winning career, the weekly honor marks the sixth total of her career and just her second during outdoor season.

Ogunribido won the triple jump title at the primarily Division I Redbird Challenge, hosted by Illinois State University, with a season-best mark of 12.43m. Ogunribido who is fourth all-time in the Division III triple jump ranks following her national title winning leap of 12.96m a season ago, is back into a comfortable position to begin her title defense. Early in the 2026 campaign, Ogunribido currently leads Division III this season by nearly two feet.

The Titans begin a two-meet weekend starting at the IC Thursday Throwdown in Jacksonville, Ill., April 2, before heading across the border to Crawfordsville, Ind. for the Huntsman Family Invitational, hosted by Wabash College, Friday-Saturday April 3-4.
