VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – After two days of gruesome competition, the Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's track and field teams walked away from the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field National Championships with four Second Team All-Americans.

Freshman Imani Ogunribido (Hanover Park, Ill.-Lake Park) kicked off the final day of competition in the second flight of the women's triple jump. With her opening jump being her best of three attempts, Ogunribido turned in a 15th-place finish at her first-ever national meet with an 11.63-meter (38'2") jump.

Freshman Adam Beasley (Bloomington, Ill.-Bloomington) came into today's men's high jump competition tied at the No. 12 ranking before inching his way into ninth place where he tied with four other competitors. Beasley jumped a clean slate to a 1.99m (6'6.25") finishing clearance.

After being granted a spot in the finals due to media interference in yesterday's 400-meter preliminary round, sophomore Evan Lowder (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community) would face yet another tough race in the finals. Lowder found himself in a good position to start the second lap of the race before catching the foot of another runner. Lowder finished ninth in finals (52.25).

Ogunribido, Beasley, and Lowder will join sophomore Adriana Crabtree (Normal, Ill.-University High) on the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's All-America Second Team. The organization will officially announce the full All-America list on Monday, March 11.

IWU looks ahead to the outdoor season as they take a trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C. over spring break to sample the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field National Championship host facility. The Titans will compete at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational, Friday and Saturday, March 15-16 inside the Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium hosted by the City of Myrtle Beach.
