HAINES CITY, Fla. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team fell to the University of Wisconsin-Superior, 9-0, Wednesday, March 13. With the loss, the Titans drop to 6-9 overall, while the Yellowjackets improve to 7-7 on the season.

Amber Ehrlich (Springfield, Ill.-Glenwood) took her opening set at No. 1 singles, 6-4. After dropping the second set, 6-2, Ehrlich's battle came up just short, as she fell in the tiebreaker, 10-8. Sophomore
Kate Christian (Washington, Ill.-Washington Community) saw some tiebreaker action at No. 3 singles, but ultimately fell 6-4, 7-6(4).
In doubles action, Ehrlich and fellow freshman
Olivia Bell (Bloomington, Ill.-Bloomington) battled at the top paired spot to force a tiebreaker, but were upended in the extra action to fall with a final score of 8-7(1).
The Green and White conclude its spring break trip with a match against State University of New York Geneseo tomorrow, March 14. Results will be posted on iwusports.com upon the completion of the match.
