BLOOMINGTON, Ill.- The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team plays its penultimate match of the year when it hits the road against Olivet Nazarene University, Friday, March, 27. First serve from Bourbonnais, Ill. is scheduled for 4 p.m.

The Titans (10-6) secured their first winning season since 2010-11 with a 7-0 sweep over Shippensburg University, Tuesday, March 17, concluding a 2-1 spring break stay in the Sunshine State. Juniors Amber Ehrlich (Springfield, Ill.-Glenwood) and Olivia Bell (Bloomington, Ill.-Bloomington), as well as sophomores Gabi Lipske (Gurnee, Ill.-Mundelein) and Katie Van Heuklon (Normal, Ill.-Normal West) clinched the doubles point.

In singles play, Ehrlich, Lipske, Bell, and freshmen Adia Douglas (Flossmoor, Ill.-Homewood-Flossmoor) and Elana Religioso (Mahomet, Ill.-Mahomet) all won in straight sets while Van Heuklon came from behind to steal a three-set win to secure the sweep.
