BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Led by four top-10 efforts, the Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team leads after 18 holes at the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational. The Titans fired a 287 on the par-72, 6901-yard Ironwood Golf Course with freshman Juney Bai (Mokena, Ill.-Lincoln-Way Central) leading the 213-player field.

Bai, who is tied for first alongside Aurora's Jack Vercautren, fired a four-under 68 to pace the Titans. Fellow freshman Jackson Hulsey (St. Charles, Ill.) is tied for third, three strokes off the lead, at one-under 71.

Rounding out the group is sophomore Griffin Pohl (Western Springs, Ill.-Lyons Township) and freshman Michael Spitzer (Hinsdale, Ill.-Hinsdale Central), who sit tied for sixth. Pohl and Spitzer each finished at even par on the day.

IWU's 'A' team leads the team standing with a nine-stroke cushion over Aurora (296). UW-Eau Claire rounds out the top-three with 297, while St. John's and Bethel are tied for fourth at 299.

Led by Spitzer, the Illinois Wesleyan 'B' team is seventh with a 304. The Titan 'C' squad is currently tied for ninth with a 306.
