Women’s Tennis Completes Second Day of Spring Break Trip

More picks up first individual collegiate victory

ORLANDO, Fla. - In the second day of spring break action, the Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team completed two matches Wednesday, March 15. IWU (0-12) opened the day with an 8-1 loss to the University of Wisconsin-Superior before dropping its match to Ohio Wesleyan University, 9-0.

A day after picking up her first collegiate victory at No. 2 doubles, freshman Raji More (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community) secured her first individual victory at No. 2 singles, winning with set scores 6-3, 6-0, against UW-Superior (3-7).

The Titans finished the day with a battle against Ohio Wesleyan (5-2), falling 9-0.

Illinois Wesleyan returns to action Friday, March 17, for the finale of its spring break trip. IWU will face Franciscan University of Steubenville at 6 p.m. ET. Results will be posted on iwusports.com upon the completion of the match.
