NICHOLASVILLE, Ill. - With two rounds down and one to go, the ninth-ranked Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team sits in seventh-place at the NCAA Division III Fall Preview. The Titans shot a 316 at the par-72, 6694-yard Champions Trace Golf Course Monday, Oct. 3.

Christopher Newport climbed into first on the team leaderboard with a 294 to push its 36-hole total to 593. Washington & Lee is in second at 594 (296-298), while No. 1 Methodist is in third at 603 (299-304=603). CNU's Alex Price leads the individual player standings with a six-under 138 after firing a five-under 67 Monday.

Sophomore Quinn Clifford (Chicago, Ill.-Brother Rice) and freshman Jackson Hulsey (St. Charles, Ill.) sit tied for 14th. Clifford carded IWU's best round of the day, a six-over 78, and is even with Hulsey at 150 for the tournament through two rounds.
