DESTIN, Fla. - The 11th-ranked Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team carded an opening-round 308 at the Division III Golfweek Fall Invitational Sunday, Oct. 16, at the par-72, 5601-yard Baytowne Golf Club. Illinois Wesleyan sits tied for ninth after 18 holes at the 24-team tournament. Leading the way for the Green and White, junior Lexi Onsrud (Normal, Ill.-University High) holds a share of ninth-place with a first-round two-over 73. 

Topping the team standings is Oglethorphe with a five-over 293. No. 4 Emory is in second at 294, while sixth-ranked Carnegie Mellon ranks third (297). No. 2 WashU is slotted fourth with a 300. Oglethorpe's Sara Hsu is on top of the player leaderboard following an outstanding six-under 66.
