NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Cole Paraday (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln-Way East)
and Rebekah Harden (Tinley Park, Ill.-Lincoln-Way North) posted season-bests as the Illinois Wesleyan University track and field teams wrapped up competition at the Dr. Keeler Invitational at North Central College Friday, May 14.


Paraday won javelin on the men's side with a season-best distance of 51.94m. Harden finished runner-up in the 800m women's run, where she clocked in with a time of 2:14.32. Her time ranks fourth-best on IWU's top-10.

Also recording top-five finishes were sophomore Addison Bendery (Chicago, Ill.-Loyola Academy) and seniors Kelsey Wyman (Monmouth, Ill.-Monmouth-Roseville) and Cora Wilkinson (Verona, Ill.-Seneca). Bendery placed fifth in the 100m dash with a time of 12.37, while Wyman and Wilkinson finished second and fourth, respectively, in the 400m hurdles. Wyman crossed the finish line in 1:03.01, and Wilkinson registered a time of 1:05.11.

The Titans are scheduled to send split squads to North Central and Augustana for last chance meets Thursday, May 20.
