KENOSHA, Wis. - The Illinois Wesleyan University track and field teams put together an impressive second day of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Outdoor Track and Field Championships Saturday, May 2 in a blustery Kenosha, Wis. Senior Adriana Crabtree (Normal, Ill.-University) highlighted the weekend with two championships and two broken meet records.

Three Titans and one Green and White relay earned titles on the day, while 30 student-athletes across both programs were named All-CCIW. Over both days, IWU accumulated seven event wins and 45 All-CCIW honors.

On the team side, the Illinois Wesleyan women claimed third-place with 121.5 points. Elmhurst defended its indoor title, winning the championship with 142 points. The Titan men earned fourth-place with 107.5 points, while North Central won with 229.5 points.

Crabtree was named the CCIW's Female Track Student-Athlete of the Meet, becoming the first Titan to earn the award in the outdoor season since Allie Boudreau shared the award in 2014. She is just the sixth female in CCIW history to earn the award in the indoor and outdoor season in the same year.

Crabtree broke her second meet record in as many days, this time coming in the 5000m. The Normal, Ill. Native's time of 17:10.74 beat out Sarahbeth Jones of Augustana, who ran the previous championship record of 17:28.01 in 2013. Additionally, the senior set the program record in the event, beating out All-American Katie North's time of 17:12.48 from 2021. Crabtree defeated the field by over a minute and 10 seconds.

Junior Imani Ogunribido (Hanover Park, Ill.-Lake Park) earned her third consecutive CCIW Championship in three appearances in the women's triple jump. Ogunribido jumped 11.99m to beat the field by a foot and a half. Freshman Tori Brown (Glasford, Ill.-Illini Bluffs) found her way onto the podium in the event, exploding for a season-best jump of 11.53m in her final attempt. Brown claimed third-place, matching her indoor triple jump finish from earlier this year.

Junior Mackenzie Huber (Lombard, Ill.-Glenbard East) and sophomore Jacob Pinkston (Tinley Park, Ill.-Lincoln-Way East) completed a program sweep of the 800m, as the duo also won the event at the indoor championships. Huber topped the field with a time of 2:14.12, while Pinkston raced a personal-best 1:53.62. Junior Aidan Nishimura (Arlington Heights, Ill.-Hersey) and senior Seth Hamerski (Mount Vernon, Ill.-Webber) joined Pinkston in collecting all-conference honors. Nishimura finished sixth with a time of 1:57.26, while Hamerski came in eighth after crossing the finish line at 2:11.73.

Senior Evan Lowder (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community), junior Carson Green (Centralia, Ill.-Centralia), sophomore Alex Maas (Heyworth, Ill.-Heyworth), and freshman Dylan Hodges (Sycamore, Ill.-Sycamore) added another league title to the Titan tally in the final event of the night. Teaming up in the men's 4x400m, Hodges ran away from North Central in the final 100m to post a time of 3:19.32.

The Green and White claimed two All-CCIW honors in the 400m. Lowder came in second with a time of 47.99, while Maas clocked in at a personal-best 48.97 en route to a fourth-place finish. With the new mark, Maas moves into seventh all-time at IWU.

Ogunribido continued her dominant meet, as she added a runner-up finish in the 100m to her long list of accolades. The junior notched a personal-best time of 12.18 and entered the program's top-10, checking in at No. 8. Sophomore Olivia Skibinski's (Peoria, Ill.-Richwoods) personal-best effort of 12.61 helped her finish seventh in the event. Skibinski also added All-CCIW honors in the 200m, as she finished sixth with a time of 26.25.

Freshman Ashlyn Rager (Carmi, Ill-Carmi-White County) impressed in throws in her CCIW Championship debut. After earning all-conference honors in the javelin yesterday, Rager threw the fourth-furthest discus on the program's all-time top-10 list. With a personal-best throw of 40.00m on her fifth attempt, she third-place and a spot on the podium.

Freshman Corrina Fassino (Peoria, Ill.-Peoria Notre Dame) finished on the podium in the 400m hurdles, as her personal-best time of 1:05.90 was the third-fastest in the field and moved her into seventh in the program's top-10.

Also turning in a third-place finish, Hamerski established a new personal-best in the 1500m, rushing in front of six runners in his heat in the final 100m, ultimately crossing the line at 3:59.62.

Freshmen Gwendolyn Boettinger (Palos Park, Ill.-Stagg) and Summer Clark (Bloomington, Ill.-Central Catholic) raked in two all-conference honors for IWU in the high jump. Boettinger finished tied for third in the event after clearing 1.54m on her first attempt. Clark came in sixth, as she also passed the 1.54m bar, needing two tries to do so.

Senior Bobby Mogged (Piper City, Ill.-Tri-Point) turned in a personal-best time of 15.28 to take fourth in the 110m hurdles.

Three Titans turned in all-conference performances in the men's 100m. Freshman Cameron Rask (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community) finished fifth with a time of 10.91. His two teammates followed closely behind, as sophomore Nyamedze Maison (Groveland, Ill.-Morton) and junior Cole Marshall (Mahomet, Ill.-Mahomet Seymour) crossed at 10.96 and 10.98, respectively. Maison finished sixth while Marshall claimed seventh.

Junior Noah Sadowski (Burr Ridge, Ill.-Hinsdale South) was also three one-hundredths of a second behind, as he came in right after Marshall at 22.40.

Senior Matt Lindberg (Springfield, Ill.-Glenwood) earned All-CCIW honors for the sixth time in his career in the men's high jump, clearing a bar of 1.92m to take seventh-place.

Junior Lauryn Moore (Bolingbrook, Ill.-Bolingbrook) also took seventh-place in the first event of the day for the Titans. Moore threw a personal-best 12.26m in the women's shot put to earn All-CCIW status.

Sophomore Daniel Nash (Lincoln, Ill.-Lincoln) picked up All-CCIW honors, as he matched his indoor performance with a seventh-place finish in shot put. The sophomore used his final throw of the competition to secure all-conference honors behind a throw of 14.57m.

Sophomore Kelsey Moore (Arcola, Ill.-Arcola) collected all-conference honors in the 100m hurdles, clocking in at 18.51 to finish eighth.
