ISU Invite Next Up for Track and Field

Women compete Friday, men Saturday

NORMAL, Ill. - The outdoor season rolls on as the Illinois Wesleyan University track and field teams stroll down Main Street to compete in the Illinois State Invite this weekend, April 30-May 1. The women's portion of the meet will take place Friday, April 30, while the men will compete Saturday, May 1. Action is set to begin at 9 a.m. each day.

Another successful weekend saw the Titans pick up College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin weekly awards. On the men's side, senior Zach Anderson (Algonquin, Ill.-Westminster Christian) was named the CCIW Field Athlete of the Week, while senior Katie North (Aurora, Ill.-Metea Valley) notched CCIW Track Athlete of the Week honors on the women's end.

Illinois Wesleyan will compete against ISU as well as other NCAA Division I competitors Butler, Drake, Bradley, Eastern Illinois, Northern Iowa, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, and Loyola Chicago. Millikin will also be in attendance.
