NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team finished runner-up at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Women's Golf Championship Saturday, Oct. 2, at Ironwood Golf Course. Four Titans earned All-CCIW honors with top-10 finishes.

Sophomore Lexi Onsrud (Bloomington, Ill.-University High) paced the Titans, claiming runner-up individually. The Bloomington, Ill. native turned in an even-par 72 to finish second with a three-day total of 221. Tied for fourth, sophomore Emma Thorman (Macomb, Ill.-Macomb) recorded a one-over 73 to bring her tournament total to 223.

Freshmen Jacque O'Neill (Harbor Springs, Mich.-Harbor Springs) and Macy Ludwig (Effingham, Ill.-St. Anthony) carded 78s. O'Neill tied for seventh overall at 231, while Ludwig placed ninth at 235.

Carthage claimed the CCIW Championship with a score of 903 (316-293-294), while IWU registered at 910. Augustana took third (934), while Elmhurst and Millikin placed fourth and fifth, respectively. Carthage's Adrienne Rohwedder earned medalist honors as she finished two-over par for the tournament at 218.

Onsrud was named the CCIW Elite 25 Award winner. This award recognizes the highest academic standard among peers. Onsrud won the award with her 4.0 grade-point average. Freshman Kylie Hundman (Bloomington, Ill. - Central Catholic) was a recipient of the CCIW Respect Award. 

Illinois Wesleyan turns its attention to the Coyote Classic hosted by Bradley University, Oct. 9-10.
