Each Monday an Illinois Wesleyan University professor will be recognized as part of Most Valuable Professor Monday. Professors are chosen by the student-athlete with the top grade point average on each team.

Rebecca Rochacz (Tinley Park, Ill.-Andrew) of the IWU women's tennis team selected Dr. Monica Hall, Assistant Professor for Nursing.

"Working on the cardiac floor and seeing how Dr. Hall operated as a nurse and clinical instructor was truly inspiring," Rochacz shared. "After the first day of clinicals, my passion for nursing was reignited, and I enjoyed every clinical day that we had thereafter. As my professor the previous semester and my current clinical instructor, Dr. Hall inspired me and encouraged me in ways that I can not physically describe, and she is, quite honestly, one of the smartest people I have ever met. I want to thank her for all she has done and being such a good role-model."
