BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team opens its 2019-20 season on the road in Dubuque, Iowa for non-conference matches with Loras College and the University of Dubuque Sunday, Sept. 8. The first matchup between Loras and IWU is set to start at 11 a.m, followed by a 3 p.m. contest with the Spartans.

Demetrios Triantafel (Indian Head Park, Ill. / LaGrange Lyons HS) is back after leading the Titans in wins a season ago en route to second team All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin honors. Meanwhile, Triantafel's double partner
Ryan Yoo (Long Grove, Ill. / Adlai E. Stevenson HS) also returns after the duo combined for a team-high six wins in doubles competition.
The Titans will square off against Dubuque for the first time since May, 1, 2010, when IWU came away with a tight 5-4 win. Meanwhile, Sunday will be the first meeting between Illinois Wesleyan and Loras in more than 10 years.
