INDIANAPOLIS -
Six members of the Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's track and field teams were selected to represent the Green and White at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, as the NCAA released its list of national qualifiers Friday, May 15. The national championships will be held in La Crosse, Wis. Thursday-Saturday, May 21-23.

Seniors Evan Lowder (Bloomington, Ill.-Normal Community), Adriana Crabtree (Normal, Ill.-University High), and Taylor French (Romeoville, Ill.-Plainfield East), juniors Imani Ogunribido (Hanover Park, Ill.-Lake Park) and Mackenzie Huber (Lombard, Ill.-Glenbard East), and freshman Tori Brown (Glasford, Ill.-Illini Bluffs) will all make appearances at the outdoor national championships.

Lowder is the lone representative from the Titan men's squad, as he is set to make his third consecutive outdoor national championship in the 400m. The senior is a two-time First Team All-American in the outdoor 400m, finishing in fourth-place at the national championship in 2024 and sixth in 2025. Lowder made his way to his third straight national championship by way of a 46.99 time at the Uncaged Eagle Open. He is seeded sixth in the event.

Crabtree is also a veteran on the national stage. The current program record holder in the 3000m steeplechase, Crabtree will make her third career appearance in the event at the outdoor national championship. In her freshman campaign, Crabtree finished 16th at the national championship and improved further by garnering her first career First Team All-American status in 2025. The senior is seeded seventh headed into the prelims Thursday, May 21.

Ogunribido is in a comfortable spot as she heads to her third national championship in the women's triple jump. The junior holds the best jump in Division III this season, most recently leaping 12.51m at the Midwest Twilight Final Qualifier Thursday, May 14. The defending national champion, Ogunribido has never finished worse than sixth at the outdoor national championship.

Huber is set to make her first appearance at the outdoor national championship in the 800m after an impressive debut at the indoor championship. Finishing fourth in the country in the indoor version of the event, Huber ran an outdoor season-best of 2:10.07 at the Billy Hayes Invite May 8. Searching for her first All-American honors outdoors, Huber is seeded No. 15.

Brown and French will make their first career appearances. Both made the most of their last chance meet opportunities to claim a spot on the national stage. In the women's javelin, French threw a personal-best 43.05m at the Midwest Twilight Final Qualifier Wednesday, May 13 and is seeded No. 12 as she looks to add to her impressive resume as a Titan.

Brown took it down to her sixth attempt of regular season competition to earn her spot in the women's triple jump. Leaping a personal-best 12.02m at the Midwest Twilight Final Qualifier Thursday, May 14, Brown joined Ogunribido on the list of national qualifiers in the event. Brown is seeded No. 12.
