Crabtree Runs Near School Record at Bryan Clay Invitational

Finishes 40th of 114 athletes

AZUSA, Calif. - Senior Adriana Crabtree (Normal, Ill.-University High) of Illinois Wesleyan University women's track and field wrapped up her 3000m steeplechase appearance at the Bryan Clay Invitational Thursday night, April 16, in Azusa, Calif.

Crabtree finished 40th out of 114 athletes in nine heats of the open 3000m steeplechase. Running alongside Division I, II, and III and national team competitors, Crabtree posted a season-best time of 10:33.93. The senior was just half a second behind her own program record time of 10:33.55 set at the 2025 NCAA Division III National Championship. Following the near school record, Crabtree's time sits in the top-five of Division III this season.

Yonca Kutluk, representing Turkey, won the event with a time of 10:02.36.

Junior Mackenzie Huber (Lombard, Ill.-Glenbard East) is scheduled to compete in the women's 800m Friday, April 17 at the Bryan Clay Invitational, while the Titan teams head to the Augustana Meet of Champions Friday-Saturday, April 17-18.
