BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The No. 21 Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team heads to Janesville, Wis. for its final regular season tournament Friday-Saturday, April 17-18. The Titans are set to compete at the UW-Whitewater Spring Invite, hosted at the par-72, 5,825-yard Riverside Golf Course.

IWU earned third-place at the Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling Saturday-Sunday, April 11-12, narrowly missing runner-up honors to UW-Stout, also in the field this week, by one stroke. Sophomore Grace Fagan (Kirkwood, Mo.-Visitation Academy) topped the individual leaderboard, beating out UW-Stout's Julia Imai last weekend, recording the first win of her career after posting a personal-best four-under 68 in round one.

Her first career win gave Fagan her second career College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Golfer of the Week award Wednesday, April 15. Fagan's honor marks the fifth consecutive weekly award given to a Titan.

Junior Emily Gastrau (Wauwatosa, Wis.-Wauwatosa East) also placed in the top-10 at the Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling, posting an impressive two-over 74 in a windy second round. Gastrau finished tied for seventh with a two-day total of 151.

The Titans will take two teams and an individual to the 36-hole tournament. Fagan, Gastrau, junior Nora Cerroni (Wauwatosa, Wis.-Wauwatosa East), sophomore Gigi Zera (Glenview, Ill.-Loyola Academy), and freshman Julia Henry (Homewood, Ill.-Homewood-Flossmoor) will make up the IWU 'A' squad.

On the Titan 'B' team will be senior Brooke Erhard (Champaign, Ill.-St. Thomas More), sophomores Breanna Brown (South Barrington, Ill.-Barrington) and Caroline Carr (Frankfort, Ill.-Lincoln-Way East), and freshmen Addison Krouse (Effingham, Ill.-St. Anthony) and Ashley Wells (Champaign, Ill.-St. Thomas More). Junior Sarah Sim (Hoffman Estates, Ill.-Fremd) will compete as an individual.

The 13-team field consists of Augustana, Aurora, Carroll, Carthage, Dubuque, Edgewood, North Central, UW-Platteville, UW-River Falls, UW-Stevens Point, UW-Stout, UW-Whitewater, and Wisconsin Lutheran.

Friday's round is scheduled for a 1 p.m. shotgun start at Riverside Golf Course. Tee times and live scoring can be found here.
