Track & Field Completes 5ks at UW-Platteville

Four of five Titans record career-bests

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - Four Titans on the Illinois Wesleyan University track and field teams set career-best marks Friday night, April 10, at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Invitational in the men's and women's 5000m. 

Freshman Alexia Spatz (Spring Grove, Ill.-Richmond Burton) ran her first career outdoor 5000m race and made the most of it, crossing the finish line in 18:57.19 which currently ranks sixth in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin ranks. 

Senior Zack Daniel (Lake Barrington, Ill.-Barrington) led the Titan men's squad, running a time of 15:30.30 which marks a career-best. Daniel's time currently slots him fifth in the CCIW.
