PLYMOUTH MEETING, Penn. - The Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's swimming and diving teams were named to the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America Fall Team Scholar All-America list, announced by the organization Tuesday, Jan. 20. The Titans were one of four College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin institutions to earn the honor, and made up two of the 709 teams, and one of 414 institutions, listed across all NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA.

Amid his first season at the helm, it is IWU's first academic honor under Director of Swimming & Diving Dan Lloyd, and the ninth time since the 2011-12 season that both the men and women were selected as a Scholar All-American team in the fall. Additionally, this is the women's 10th time and the men's ninth time on the list for the fall semester.

The men's team finished the fall semester with a 3.59 GPA, while the women notched a 3.17. Illinois Wesleyan was one of four CCIW schools to earn the honor for each team, as the Titans were joined by Augustana, Carroll, Carthage, and Wheaton.

This distinction represents the highest academic honor awarded by the CSCAA and is presented by Fitter and Faster Swim Camps, recognizing programs that exemplify excellence in the classroom while competing at the highest levels of collegiate sport.

The Scholar All-America designation includes collegiate swimming and diving programs nationwide from NCAA Division I, Division II, and Division III, as well as NAIA and junior college and community college institutions, underscoring the broad academic impact of the sport across all levels of competition.

In total, 709 teams representing 16,421 student-athletes earned Scholar All-America recognition for their outstanding academic performance. To qualify, each team was required to post a team cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher during the Fall 2025 semester, reflecting a sustained commitment to academic excellence alongside competitive achievement.

Illinois Wesleyan returns to the pool Saturday, Jan. 24, as the Green and White travel to Wabash College to take on the Little Giants, as well as Division I Valparaiso University. Action is set to begin at 1 p.m. ET.
