Women’s 800 Free Relay Takes Third on Day One of CCIW Swim Championship

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. - The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Swimming & Diving Championship got underway at the RecPlex Aquatic Center with the 800-yard freestyle relay Wednesday night, Feb. 18.

Illinois Wesleyan kicked off the meet with a third-place finish in the first event of the week. Senior Natalie Porter (Danville, Ill.-Danville), juniors Sam Borre (Hoffman Estates, Ill.-James B. Conant) and Claire Paule (Godfrey, Ill.-Alton) as well as freshman Abby Schnittker (Lombard, Ill.-Willowbrook) came together for a time of 7:58.65.

Championship action continues tomorrow, Feb. 19, beginning with prelims at 10 a.m.
