BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team takes a break from dual match play as they send three players to the ITA Regional Tournament Friday-Monday, Sept. 19-22 on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis.

Juniors Amber Ehrlich (Springfield, Ill.-Glenwood) and Olivia Bell (Bloomington, Ill.-Bloomington) will make their second straight appearance at the prestigious tournament. In doubles play in 2024, they defeated Anna Fletcher and Nicole Flock from Capital University, 8-7(4) before they fell to ninth-ranked Erin Storrer and Lillia Walter of Otterbein College 8-3.

In singles action, Ehrlich dropped both of her matches in straight sets at last year's event. Sophomore Gabi Lipske (Gurnee, Ill.-Mundelein) will make her ITA debut this weekend.

In their most recent dual match against Monmouth College on Sept. 16, Lipske defeated Natalie Labicki at two singles 6-2, 0-6, 10-8 and Ehrlich took down Ivana Stefanova 6-2, 6-3 at the top singles spot.

Results will be posted on iwusports.com upon the completion of the tournament.
